Samieh S. Rizk (born October 27, 1967), also known as Sam Rizk, is an American plastic surgeon. He is the current director of the Accredited Surgical Ensemble of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Rizk is affiliated with professional organizations such as the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American College of Surgeons-American Faculty. He has made notable contributions to this field, including pioneering the use of tissue sealants in the deep plane facelif, revealed in the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery. He was recognized as the founder of Manhattan Facial Plastic Surgery.[1][2][3]

Sam Rizk completed his undergraduate from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.[2] He earned his medical degree through the Accelerated Honors Program at The University of Michigan's Medical School. He served as a resident in New York Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, and Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. Rizk completed his fellowship at the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Sacramento, California.[1]

He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Faculty of the American College of Surgeons-American, Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Medical Society of the State of New York, New York Facial Plastic Society, Society for Reconstructive Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery of New York, New York Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Society, and New Jersey Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.[1] He is described as one of the pioneers of three-dimensional rhinoplasty and ethnic rhinoplasty surgery technology.[4] Fellow of American College of Surgeons since 2001 and he was certified by American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Sam Rizk performed plastic surgeries on Jennifer Fessler.[5][6]

He has contributed to the article Short Scar Face-Lift with the use of Fibrin Sealant in an issue of Elsevier Saunders´ Dermatologic Clinics.[7] Sam Rizk is a member for the AAFPRS Face to face program, for deformities, war-torn people and victims of domestic abuse.[8]
