Master Ravindra

Ravindra KC popularly known as Master Ravindra, is a former Indian actor known for his role in Hosa Jeevana and other Kannada movies of the 1990s.

Early Life and Education

Ravindra KC was born in Bangalore to a middle-class family. His father, Kyathasandra Chandrashekar, was a writer and theatre artiste, and it was through observing his father's theatrical work that Ravindra first developed his interest in acting.

Academically gifted, Ravindra was a rank holder in lower primary school and later secured the 5th rank in his Diploma in Computer Science at SJ Polytechnic. He continued his education by pursuing a degree in Computer Science and Engineering at BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE).

Acting Career

Ravindra KC's journey into the film industry was facilitated by his close friendship with renowned Kannada child artiste Master Manjunath. The two often accompanied each other to film shoots.


Ravindra's breakthrough role came when Master Manjunath faced a scheduling conflict between the Kannada film Hosa Jeevana and the Hindi film Benaam Badsha. This opportunity allowed Ravindra to step into a pivotal role in Hosa Jeevana.
