NASCAR 25 is a planned upcoming racing video game possibly simulating the 2025 NASCAR season. It will be developed by Monster Games and will be published by iRacing in the fall of 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Windows via Steam, and the Nintendo Switch.[1][2]
License of Motorsport Games and License sell to iRacing
editFollowing the controversial releases of NASCAR 21: Ignition and the Next Gen cars on NASCAR Heat 5 by Motorsport Games, many fans called out Motorsport Games for the lack of updated paint schemes on the Next Gen cars in NASCAR Heat 5.
On October 5, 2023, it was announced that Motorsport Games sold the license for the exclusive NASCAR video game to iRacing.[3] The sell was praised by many people.
Development
editOn February 8, 2024, it was reported that NASCAR 25 will be using the Unreal Engine, an engine that had been used on the previous NASCAR Heat series.[4]
