Matthew Alec is founder and Executive Producer at Cleveland Time Records.[1]. He is bandleader for the high-energy jazz fusion group Matthew Alec and The Soul Electric[2][3] and a founding member of “Cleveland’s Best Original Band[4]” "Winslow"[5].
“Cleveland’s Best Horn Player" is nomination that Matthew recieved by Cleveland Scene Magazine in 2009[6]. He has performed for over 20 years and holds a bachelor’s degree in Music from Kent State University[6].
Album Cleavlend Time[7] charted for several weeks on the NACC Jazz Radio Chart, peaking at #13[8].
