Maria Petrovna Zaitseva; born 1 July 1981), also known as Duchess Maria born into an aristocratic family and is a member of House of Stasov.[1] She is a great great granddaughter of the Duke Vasily Stasov, the famous russian architect.

Maria Petrovna was born on 1st of July, 1981 in Saint Petersburg, the eldest child in the family.

Duchess Maria was educated in Saint Petersburg before studying international economics in Beijing, China. She is fluent in Russian, English and Chinese. She has recently moved to Sydney, Australia with her family.
