Comment- We can transform this to a version of members who are committed to rid Wikipedia of Vandalism. This old membership list should stay, but transformed. Arbiteroftruth 00:16, 30 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

dont speedy delete theres a bit of argy-bargy about the validity of the delete, and i dont think it's unreasonable to assume that it's possible the CVU article could be undeleted.

Wikipedia:Deletion_review#Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism_Unit

hence, wait untill that issue is resolved, and then leave or delete as applicable. --DakAD 00:31, 30 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

List management edit

Is this list/group managed by someone? For example, if someone wearing the CVU tags constantly vandalises a particular article, can he/she/other be removed from the list and, more importantly, have the CVU tags removed from his/her/their userpage? Groveller 08:54, 23 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Tricky question, if the user is a member of CVU they have to follow the rules, if they disobey the rules of the CVU they should be reported to one of the Admin, and they'll probably receive a warning or have the tag removed, and regarding your first comment i don't think the group is managed by someone, if so the user would have noticed the vandal disobeying the rule. →Yun-Yuuzhan 13:06, 31 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Did I forget to add something? edit

I added the image to my page, and on the bottom of my User Page it has the category listed. But I'm not on the list page. Did I forget something? Jru Gordon 11:30, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

In case this comes up again, to add a user to a user category, use [[Category:Wikipedians in the Counter Vandalism Unit|{{PAGENAME}}]] instead of just [[Category:Wikipedians in the Counter Vandalism Unit]]. You were probably listed under "U" for "User:Jrugordon" instead of "J" for "Jrugordon". ~Kylu (u|t) 06:07, 1 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Feel Free to Use edit

I created something for people to use. It is below and can be copied verbatim.

Special Warning for Using Derogatory and/or Racist Language edit

This is a special warning for using derogatory and/or racist language.
It is against Wikipedia policy to use inflammatory, derogatory, or racist language outside of a purely encyclopedic context. Your edit on Example was highly inappropriate. Please read the Wikipedia rules on proper postings before posting again. This is your only warning. You will be banned for further offenses.

This should be added as an option for Huggle. Jusdafax 06:43, 8 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
I don't use Huggle, so I wouldn't know how to do so. Feel free to add it if you wish, in fact, I encourage it. If you can add it to Twinkle, I would be very, very happy. Nezzadar (talk) 16:42, 8 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Not sure where to bring it up. Anyone have any thoughts? Jusdafax 18:24, 8 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Try Wikipedia:Huggle/Feedback for huggle and Wikipedia_talk:Twinkle for twinkle and refer them to the template i made at Template:Uw-derogatory Morgankevinj(talk) 00:07, 15 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I would like you join you in your efforts to stop vandalism edit

I'm willing to put time into cleaning up wiki! Can I join your Unit? :)Cozzycovers (talk) 09:02, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

(A bit tardy but) Yes, all interested parties are welcome. Jusdafax 22:58, 22 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

New User box edit

How do I create a page under "Template"? I am wishing to add a user box that is like this one but with ships. I have already designed it, just need to add it to a page. A 10 fireplane (talk) 18:01, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
