Ana Vasconcelos Martins

Ana Vasconcelos Martins (born 14 March 1985) is a Portuguese politician of the Liberal Initiative who was elected member of the European Parliament in 2024.[1] She serves as a vice president of the Liberal Initiative,[2] and was the party's lead candidate for the Azores constituency in the 2019 legislative election.[3] For the 2019 European Parliament election, she was an independent candidate in fourth place on the party's list.[4]

Martins was born on Terceira Island, and has lived in Lisbon since the age of 7.[5] She studied law and political science at the Catholic University of Portugal and political theory at the University of Oxford, where she also worked as a research assistant.[3]
