Abhijit Sen is Emeritus Scientist and INSA fellow, Sr. Professor, of the Institute for Plasma Research,[1] Chandrasekhar Chair.[2] Sen has published more than 300 research paper in reputed journals.[3][4][5]

Education

Sen received a National Merit Scholarship from the Government of India during his education (1962–66). Sen completed his Bachelor of Science at Gujarat University in Physics in 1963. He later completed both a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Physics at the University of Tennessee in 1971. Following his doctoral studies, Sen became a Postdoctoral researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.[6]
