The Completionist GA edit

Hey LunaEclipse, I saw that you nominated The Completionist for GA status. Although I appreciate the nomination, I'm a little unsure if it's the right time to nominate it at the moment. There are some crucial details still missing from the article, such as the fallout with charity and its resolution, plus the Elsie development and aspects of his personal life, that I feel would go against the "broad detail" criteria. I was actually hoping to wait a bit until we have more info about the charity situation to nominate for GA, seeing as how it's technically "ongoing." Otherwise, I fear that the article would radically change once that info is revealed which could affect its GA standing. If you still feel it's worth a GA nomination however, feel free, but IMO I'd recommend waiting a bit. Thanks, PantheonRadiance (talk) 00:00, 28 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Template:Did you know nominations/Sitdown strike edit

LunaEclipse, will you be able to to return to your review here, or should we find a new reviewer to finish up? I did notice that you have a "busy" template up, but I do see some recent edits, so I don't want to jump to any conclusions. Please let me know (a ping here is fine) if you won't be returning. Thank you very much. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:27, 3 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Track listings and credits don't need sources edit

Hello. Regarding your addition of a source to the track listing of In Waves, while I appreciate that you might want to be careful about sourcing on topics you're interested in, there's no need to source track listings or credits to external sources or liner notes per MOS:ALBUM, which states that the album itself is the source and it's expected credits come from the liner notes. Some editors like to stockpile sources on articles they create, but I usually don't see the need for any more than four when an album has just been announced. There are plenty more I could have added but I chose not to overcite. I don't think any editor will question where the track listing came from, as if they were to check literally any news article about it, they'd see the track list themselves, so there's really no need to add another source or use an existing one, especially given MOS:ALBUM saying there's no need for it as well. Of course there are exceptions, like if liner notes don't credit somebody but they do perform on a track, we would need an additional source for contentious details like that. I just don't think In Waves is one. Ss112 20:06, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your GA nomination of Akai MPC edit

Hi! I noticed that you nominated the article Akai MPC for Good article status. You do not appear to have made significant edits to the article prior to this, and there is no discussion about nominating the article on its talk page. Current practice is that only editors who have significantly contributed to the article are able to nominate it (see the nomination instructions). I have consequently removed the nomination for now. Consider discussing whether the article is ready to be nominated with the article's principal editors on the talk page. Thank you. ~~~~ B3251(talk) 20:17, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

B3251, you most likely made a mistake. WP:GA/I says that "If the nominator is either the author of less than 10% of the article or ranked sixth or lower in authorship, [...] it can be uncontroversially considered a drive-by nomination. You can notify the nominator on their talk page." I am in the top 5 in terms of authorship, according to Xtools. — 🌙Eclipse (talk) (contribs) 20:38, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Actually, nevermind, I just read your notes at the GAN. — 🌙Eclipse (talk) (contribs) 20:41, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
I apologize for the initial confusion. I wasn't sure myself if this could be considered a drive-by nomination, so I initially asked other Wikipedians for their input at first. B3251(talk) 20:47, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
